Career

Born in Gabès, Khelifa has played for Stade Gabèsien, Espérance and CS Hammam-Lif. During the 2010–11 Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1, Khelifa made ten appearances for Espérance, starting in eight games and scoring one goal on their way to a record 24th national title.[1]

In January 2011, Espérance agreed to allow Khelifa to join Ligue 2 side Evian Thonon on a free transfer at the end of the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 in July.[2] On 10 August 2011 Khelifa finally completed his switch to the newly promoted Ligue 1 side Evian Thonon.[3] On 14 August 2011, he made his debut for his new club and recorded his first goal in their match against Nice, resulting in a 1-0 victory. This goal secured Evian Thonon their first ever win in Ligue 1 and maintained their undefeated mark to the new season.[4]

International Career

He made his international debut for Tunisia on 17 November 2010 in an 2012 African Nations Cup qualifying match against Botswana.[5] He was subbed on in the 78' minute for Ahmed Akaichi, but could not help his side from falling to a 1-0 loss.[6]
